Area Measurement - (GIA, NIA, GEA, GIFA, IPMS & ITZA)
An accurate area measurement is invaluable in today's property market, for both residential and commercial use.

Whether it is for selling or leasing a property, rent review or for valuation purposes an accurate measurement is essential, and gives an impartial sq ft/sq m of a property in both plan and tabled form.

We survey all types of property, from a studio flat to a high street shop or a large commercial/industrial building. The reasons for undertaking an accurate area calculation include:

  • Selling or leasing a residential or commercial building
  • Valuing a potential property for purchase/lease
  • Ground rent calculations
  • Space planning
  • Rental review
  • Sq ft disputes & arbitration
  • Business rates review
  • Retail zoning calculations
  • Feasability studies

We can provide the results in plan format or in a schedule tailored to the clients required details. This can include individual room sq ft's, communal area sq ft's, floor by floor measurements and overall building calculations.

We will also supply a duty of care letter if requested, confirming the sq ft to be accurate and that the calculations can be assigned to any purchaser.
